Class Placement

It is that time of year to begin thinking about class lists for the 2015-2016 school year.  I wanted to share with our families how the process works at Heritage.  We begin with teachers filling out information on each individual student.  This is followed by grade levels meeting and determining which students would work well in the same class and maybe who should be separated from each other.  Other factors in determining class lists include academic levels and special programs.  The final component to the process is from parents.  If a parent has a specific request or information they would like to share with us, we ask that you fill out our Student Placement Information Sheet.  You can pick one of these forms up at the office, or click on the following link: Student Placement Information Sheet to download the document.  We are not looking for specific names of teachers, we are looking for your child's learning style.  I do ask that you return these forms back to school by May 13th for consideration.  Thank you for your help with this important process.
