The Heritage spelling bee was filled with compassion and
support. All 18 students were nervous but the crowd made them feel special,
even if they did not make it past the first or second round.
Two students
reached the 13th round, where the winner was named, Lucas.
The word that crowned him champion was intellect, what a fitting word. Rose came in a close second place and congratulated the champion with pure
kindness.
Heritage was filled with heart during the spelling bee, as students
were encouraged throughout the hour long spelling bee.
