MEET THE COUNSELOR
Hello! My name is Ms.
Kelly McGonegle and I am the school counselor at Black Bob and Heritage this
year! I graduated from Northwest Missouri State University where I
received a B.S. Ed. degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s in Guidance
and Counseling. I worked previously as a K-2 counselor in Warrensburg, MO
and now I’m thrilled to be joining Olathe Public Schools!
The mission of our guidance
program is to address the needs of all students by facilitating their academic,
career, and personal/social development as well as helping create a positive
and safe learning climate in our school. The school counseling program
works to provide services, programs, and interventions to support students in becoming
life-long learners. Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any
